If you'd like to participate in the workshop Captain’s Log of HMS Terror: Handwriting in the Terror and in Victorian Times with Teddy McMillan, you will need the following materials.
Option 1: Period Accurate

Black ink (preferably India ink or carbon ink)

Cotton paper

Pen nib holder

Steel pen nib - somewhat fine tipped with some flexibility in line weight.

Pencil and eraser

Ruler
Option 2: On-hand

Printer paper/cardstock- smoother paper

A writing utensil with line weight variation (ability to make thick and thin lines)
