Since 2021, the annual Terror Camp Conference has brought Polar fans together from around the world. Open to presenters and attendees of all experience levels, Terror Camp was born out of a love for AMC's The Terror and the history of the Franklin Expedition, and has featured academics and actors, scientists and showrunners alike as speakers.

Our 2024 conference expanded to three days of programming and introduced a new presentation type: workshops!

Day one of the 2023 conference was focused on The Terror, the Franklin Expedition, and the Arctic. Day two was dedicated to research on Antarctic exploration, history, science, and media.

The second annual Terror Camp grew to two days and expanded its offerings beyond the world of the show to polar exploration and research.
